- The "When you take damage from a card effect" effect can be activated during either player's turn.[1]
- This effect cannot be activated if you take damage from a card effect during the Damage Step.[1]
- This effect cannot be activated if you take damage from a card effect during a Chain Link 2 or higher.[1]
