"Elemental Lord" monster Rulings

OCG Rulings

• "Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by having exactly 5 [...] monsters in your Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways" is not treated as an effect. It is a procedure to Special Summon a Special Summon Monster. (Special Summoning this card this way does not start a Chain Link.)

• This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard by the effect of "Monster Reborn". It can only be Special Summoned from your hand using the procedure listed in its text.

• The effect "If this card leaves the field, skip the Battle Phase of your next turn" is not a Continuous Effect, Ignition Effect, Trigger Effect or Quick Effect. (Applying this effect does not start a Chain Link.)

• The effect "If this card leaves the field, skip the Battle Phase of your next turn" is not applied when this card treated as Xyz Material leaves the field.

• If multiple copies of "Grandsoil the Elemental Lord", "Moulinglacia the Elemental Lord", "Pyrorex the Elemental Lord" or "Windrose the Elemental Lord" leave the field at the same time (such as by being destroyed by "Dark Hole"), only the Battle Phase of your next turn is skipped.

• If a "Grandsoil the Elemental Lord", "Moulinglacia the Elemental Lord", "Pyrorex the Elemental Lord" or "Windrose the Elemental Lord" that you own is destroyed by the effect of "Ring of Destruction" after its control was changed to your opponent by the effect of "Creature Swap", the effect "If this card leaves the field, skip the Battle Phase of your next turn" is applied to the player that controlled it at that time. (In this case, the Battle Phase of your opponent's next turn is skipped.)

• Even if "Grandsoil the Elemental Lord", "Moulinglacia the Elemental Lord", "Pyrorex the Elemental Lord" or "Windrose the Elemental Lord" is returned to the Deck by the effect of "Raiza the Storm Monarch", the effect "If this card leaves the field, skip the Battle Phase of your next turn" is still applied.

• Even if "Grandsoil the Elemental Lord", "Moulinglacia the Elemental Lord", "Pyrorex the Elemental Lord" or "Windrose the Elemental Lord" leaves the field while its effects are being negated by "Skill Drain", the effect "If this card leaves the field, skip the Battle Phase of your next turn" is still applied.
