TCG Rulings[]
- You count the number of "Fortune Lady" monsters you control when the effect resolves. This includes "Fortune Lady Wind."[1]
- If the number of Spell and Trap Cards your opponent controls is less than the number of "Fortune Lady" monsters you control when you Summon "Fortune Lady Wind", you cannot activate its effect.[1]
OCG Rulings[]
- The effect of "Fortune Lady Wind" does not target. When you resolve this effect, you choose and destroy a number of Spell or Trap Cards equal to the number of "Fortune Lady" monsters.[2][3]
- When "Fortune Lady Wind" is Normal Summoned, if there are fewer Spell/Trap Cards on the field than "Fortune Lady" monsters you control, then you cannot activate the effect of "Fortune Lady Wind". This is because "Fortune Lady Wind" must destroy a number of Spell/Trap Cards equal to the number of "Fortune Lady" monsters you control.[4]
- "Fortune Lady Wind" counts itself as a "Fortune Lady" monster on the field for its effect.[4]
Fortune Lady Monster Rulings[]
TCG Rulings
- If this card’s Level is 12, the effect to increase its Level will not activate during the Standby Phase.[5]
OCG Rulings[]
- If the Level of a monster like "Fortune Lady Light" or "Fortune Lady Earth" is already 12, then its effect to increase its Level does not activate during the Standby Phase.[6]
- The Level of a monster like "Fortune Lady Light" or "Fortune Lady Earth" can be increased beyond 12 by other effects, such as "Synchro Boost".[6]
- After a monster like "Fortune Lady Earth" increases its own Level by its effect, if its Level is negated by an effect like "Skill Drain" or "Forbidden Chalice", then the Level of "Fortune Lady Earth" returns to the original Level that is printed on the card.[7]
- Monsters like "Fortune Lady Earth" do not have a defined ATK, so cards like "Magician's Circle" and "Limit Reverse" may not Special Summon them from the Deck or Graveyard.[8]
