OCG Rulings[]
- When "Goblin Attack Force"/"Goblin Elite Attack Force"/"Giant Orc"/"Indomitable Fighter Lei Lei"/"Destiny Hero - Dasher"/etc attack a face-down "Blast Sphere", "Blast Sphere" will equip to the monster and Damage Calculation will be skipped. However, "Goblin Attack Force" still entered the Damage Step, so it still will be changed to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step.[1]
Previously Official Rulings[]
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been deemed unofficial by Konami.[3] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. - You can only Tribute 1 monster to increase "Destiny Hero - Dasher's" ATK during your Main Phases.
- You can use "Destiny Hero - Dasher's" effect to Special Summon 1 monster you draw only once while it is in the Graveyard. If "Destiny Hero - Dasher" is returned to your hand or Deck and then sent back to the Graveyard you could activate its effect again.
- You can activate this effect when you draw a monster during your Draw Phase because of a card effect such as "Reload" or "Heart of the Underdog".
- If you have 2 "Destiny Hero - Dasher" in your Graveyard, and you activate "Reload" during your Draw Phase and draw 2 or more Monster Cards, you can activate the effects of both "Destiny Hero - Dashers" in a chain.
- "Destiny Hero - Dasher" cannot Tribute itself to activate its own effect.
- If you have "Destiny Hero - Dasher" in your Graveyard and your opponent has "Drastic Drop Off" Set, when you draw a Monster Card during your Draw Phase you can use priority to activate "Destiny Hero - Dasher's" effect. Your opponent can chain "Drastic Drop Off" to discard the Monster Card you drew.
- If an effect is chained to "Destiny Hero - Dasher's" third effect that removes it from the Graveyard, the drawn monster is still Special Summoned.
Judge List Rulings
- You must reveal the drawn monster when you activate "Destiny Hero - Dasher's" effect. So the opponent know the monster's name and they can chain "Mind Crush" and declare it.[2]
Mentions in Other Rulings
- Light and Darkness Dragon: If the activation of “Destiny Hero - Dasher’s” effect that Special Summons a monster is negated by “Light and Darkness Dragon”, the “Destiny Hero - Dasher” will not be able to activate the effect while it remains in the Graveyard. If it is removed from the Graveyard and then later returned to the Graveyard, it will be able to activate its effect once again.
