TCG Rulings
- If 3 copies of "Phantom of Chaos" each copy the name of one of the Fusion Material Monsters, you can remove all 3 from play to Summon "Armityle the Chaos Phantom".[1]
OCG Rulings
- The effect "This card gains 10000 ATK during your turn only." of "Armityle the Chaos Phantom" does not start a Chain.[2]
- "Armityle the Chaos Phantom" and "VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon" can be Special Summoned from the Graveyard by effects like "Call of the Haunted" or "Premature Burial", but only if they were sent to the Graveyard after being properly Special Summoned from the Extra Deck. However, "XYZ-Dragon Cannon" has the text "This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard.", so it cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard, even if it was sent to the Graveyard after being properly Special Summoned from the Extra Deck.[3]
- If you have three copies of "Phantom of Chaos", and one of each is copying "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames", "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder", and "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms", then you can remove from play the three copies of "Phantom of Chaos" as Fusion Material Monsters to Special Summon "Armityle the Chaos Phantom".[4]
