- If "Allure Queen LV5" is flipped face-down after being Special Summoned by the effect of "Allure Queen LV3", it is no longer treated as having been Special Summoned by "Allure Queen LV3". So you can no longer use its first effect to equip it with a monster. (However, it is still considered to have been Special Summoned for effects like "Special Hurricane".)
- If "Allure Queen LV5" is Special Summoned by the effect of "Allure Queen LV3", and is then temporarily removed from play with "Dimensionhole" or "Interdimensional Matter Transporter", after it returns to the field it can still use its first effect. The fact that it was Special Summoned by "Allure Queen LV3" is not reset.
- If "Allure Queen LV5" is Special Summoned by the effect of "Allure Queen LV3", and is then permanently removed from play with "D.D. Warrior", if it is later Special Summoned by an effect like "Return from the Different Dimension", it is no longer treated as being Special Summoned by "Allure Queen LV3". So it cannot use its first effect anymore.
[edit] LV Monsters Rulings
The following Rulings apply to all LV Monsters capable of Special Summoning a monster of a higher LV.
- If "Banisher of the Light" is in play, you cannot send an LV monster to the Graveyard, so you cannot activate its effect.
- If an LV monster fulfills its condition to Special Summon the next-highest level (for example, if "Armed Dragon LV5" destroys a monster as a result of battle), and the level monster is then flipped face-down, or removed from play permanently, or sent to the Graveyard and then Special Summoned from the Graveyard, then its condition is "reset" and it is no longer considered to have met the condition to level up to the next LV.
- If you don't have a monster of the next LV in your hand or Deck, you can still send the LV monster to the Graveyard to activate its effect. If you don't have the next LV, then your opponent can check your hand and Deck to verify.
- You can activate "Divine Wrath" when a "LV" monster is sent to the Graveyard to Special Summon the next level version (an Ignition Effect), and "Divine Wrath" will negate that effect, even though it cannot destroy the "LV" monster because it is already in the Graveyard.
[edit] OCG Rulings
- You may not use Allure Queen LV5's effect to equip her with a face-down monster.
- The effect of this card that destroys the equipped monster only applies to monsters equipped by this card's effect.
- When you "level up" this card the equipped monster is sent to the Graveyard at the same time.
- You may use Allure Queen LV5's effect to equip tokens. However, you cannot "level up" this card since tokens cannot be sent to the Graveyard (they simply just "leave play").
- If "Twin-Headed Behemoth" is equipped to this card and is destroyed for the last part of this card's effect, the effect of "Twin-Headed Behemoth" activates if the effect hasn't already been used.
[edit] Mentions in Other Rulings
- Trojan Blast: You cannot activate "Trojan Blast" when a monster shifts control to become an Equip Card. So you cannot activate "Trojan Blast" when..."Allure Queen LV5"...equips itself with your monster.
