- In episode 17, Hunter Pace uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Yusei Fudo. When "Speed Warrior" (whose ATK was 1800 due to it being powered up by its own effect) attacks "Burning Skull Head", Hunter activates this card to reduce the ATK of Burning Skull Head" to 0 and prevent "Burning Skull Head" from being destroyed by battle. The attack fails, however Hunter still takes Battle Damage. Hunter then activates "Doom Accelerator" to prevent himself from losing any Speed Counters from the Battle Damage he took and increase his Speed Counters by three (as he took about 1500 damage). On Yusei's End Phase, this card's effect expires
