Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

  • In episode 154, Yubel uses this card during her duel against Jaden Yuki. She Special Summons this card via the final effect of "Yubel". On Yubel's next turn, this card attacks "Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin". Due to the first two effects of this card, it is not destroyed and Jaden takes the Battle Damage Yubel would have taken. On Yubel's End Phase, "Samsara Lotus" revives itself through its first effect. Yubel then activates this card's third effect to destroy "Samsara Lotus" and destroy "Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird". On Yubel's next turn, this card attacks "Elemental HERO Prisma". The attack fails, but due to the second effect of this card, Jaden takes the Battle Damage Yubel would have taken. On Yubel's End Phase, "Samsara Lotus" revives itself through its first effect. Yubel then activates this card's third effect to destroy "Samsara Lotus" and destroy "Neo-Spacian Twinkle Moss". In the next episode, "Rainbow Neos" (who was equipped with "Rainbow Veil") attacks this card. Due to the effects of "Rainbow Veil", this card's effects are negated during the Battle Phase only, however Yubel activates "Fiend Rose" and equips it to this card. Due to the effects of "Fiend Rose", this card is not destroyed and Yubel takes no Battle Damage. After Yubel activates "Mystical Space Typhoon" to destroy "Rainbow Veil", she uses this card to attack "Rainbow Neos", but Jaden banishes "Necro Gardna" from his Graveyard to negate the attack. Later Jaden activates the first effect of "Rainbow Neos" to return all monsters on Yubel's side of the field to her Deck. This activates this card's final effect, allowing Yubel to Special Summon "Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare".
  • The anime version of this card has the same exact effect as the TCG/OCG version except that it still forces the opponents monster to attack it, triggering Nightmare Pain but it had the extra effect of when the monsters on the controller's side were destroyed by the effect, your opponent lost monsters equal to the number of destroyed ones. This effect was called Fellow Sacrifice. Another difference is that its last effect can activate if it is return to the player's deck (impossible in the real game as there the effect activates only if it is sent back to your hand, is destroyed, or removed from play).
