• Virus Cannon was a Spell Card in the Japanese anime. It had a slightly different Japanese name and did not require the owner to Tribute monsters to activate. Instead, it removed 10 Spell Cards from the opponent's Deck.

• Although this card looked like a Trap Card in the Dubbed anime, in the Japanese anime and manga this was a Spell Card, which explains why Seto Kaiba could activate it from his hand.
