Dark Signers[]

  • In episode 29, Jack Atlas uses this card during his Ground Duel against Tetsu Trudge while the latter was a Shadow Drone and while the former had assistance from Carly Carmine (Jack couldn't use his right arm as it was still healing, so Carly supported Jack by drawing and holding his cards). Jack Special Summons this card from his hand via its own effect at the cost of halving this card's original ATK and DEF. Jack then Tributes this card in order to Tribute Summon "Strong Wind Dragon". The latter then gains ATK equal to half of this card's original ATK due to its second effect.

Pre-World Racing Grand Prix[]

  • In episode 76, Jack uses this card during his Ground Duel against Syd. He Special Summons this card via its own effect at the cost of halving this card's original ATK and DEF. Jack then activates "Polymerization" to fuse "Big Piece Golem" with "Medium Piece Golem" in order to Fusion Summon "Multiple Piece Golem". Jack then Normal Summons "Archfiend Interceptor". "Multiple Piece Golem" then attacks "Assault Wheel" (whose ATK was 0 due to its own effect), but Syd activates "Nightmare Wheel" to immobilize "Multiple Piece Golem" and forbid it from attacking. This card then attacks "Assault Wheel", but Syd activates "Plunder Decoy" to take control of "Archfiend Interceptor". A replay occurs and Jack uses this card to attack "Assault Wheel". The effect of "Archfiend Interceptor" then activates, inflicting 500 damage to Jack. This card then destroys "Assault Wheel". Later "Combat Wheel" attacks this card, but Jack activates "Nightmare Archfiends" to Tribute this card and Special Summon three Nightmare Archfiend Tokens to Syd's side of the field. A replay occurs and Syd chooses not to attack.
  • In episode 83, Jack uses this card during his Turbo Duel against the Fake Jack Atlas. He Special Summons this card via its own effect at the cost of halving this card's original ATK and DEF. Jack then Normal Summons "Dread Dragon" and tunes this card with "Dread Dragon" in order to Synchro Summon "Exploder Dragonwing".
  • In episode 84, the real Jack Atlas and the Fake Jack Atlas both use this card during their Turbo Duel against each other. Jack Special Summons this card from his hand at the cost of halving this card's original ATK and DEF. Jack then Normal Summons "Trust Guardian" and tunes this card with "Trust Guardian" in order to Synchro Summon "Red Dragon Archfiend". Later the Fake Jack Special Summons this card from his hand at the cost of halving this card's original ATK and DEF. Fake Jack then Normal Summons "Flare Resonator" and tunes this card with "Flare Resonator" in order to Synchro Summon "Red Dragon Archfiend".
    • This card also appears in a flashback Jack has when he notes that he could have summoned "Red Dragon Archfiend" before his fake in their previous Duel had he used "Trust Guardian", but he had let his pride on the line at that moment, leading to him being defeated.

World Racing Grand Prix[]

  • In episode 98, Jack uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Andre. He Special Summons this card from his hand by halving this card's original ATK and DEF. Jack then Normal Summons "Dark Resonator"and tunes this card with "Dark Resonator" in order to Synchro Summon "Red Dragon Archfiend".
  • In episode 111, Jack uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Max (who was possessed by the Familiar of Red Nova at the timing). He Special Summons this card from his hand at the cost of halving this card's original ATK and DEF. This activates the effect of "Freedom Bird", allowing Max to Special Summon another "Freedom Bird". After Jack Normal Summons "Dark Resonator", he tunes this card with "Dark Resonator" in order to Synchro Summon "Red Dragon Archfiend".
    • This card also appears in Max's Deck when Jack looks through it.
  • In episode 112, this card is shown when Max looks through his Deck.
  • In episode 118, Jack uses this card during his Ground Duel against Dragan. He Special Summons this card from his hand at the cost of halving this card's original ATK and DEF. After Jack Normal Summons "Dark Resonator", he tunes this card with "Dark Resonator" in order to Synchro Summon "Red Dragon Archfiend".
