- In episode 22, Akiza Izinski uses this card during her Ground Duel against Commander Koda. After she summons this card, she tunes her two "Rose Tokens" with this card in order to Synchro Summon "Black Rose Dragon".
- In episode 38, Akiza uses this card during her Ground Duel against Misty Tredwell. After she summons this card, she activates this card's effect to Special Summon "Lord Poison" from her hand. She then tunes "Lord Poison" with this card in order to Synchro Summon "Black Rose Dragon". In the next episode, Akiza activates "Synchro Spirits" to banish "Black Rose Dragon" from her Graveyard and revive both this card and "Lord Poison". She then activates "Dimension Reversion" to return "Black Rose Dragon" to her Extra Deck. Akiza then activates "Urgent Tuning" to Synchro Summon a Synchro Monster during the Battle Phase. She then tunes "Lord Poison" with this card in order to Synchro Summon "Black Rose Dragon".
- In episode 40, Akiza uses this card during her Ground Duel against Yusei Fudo. After she summons this card, Akiza activates this card's effect to Special Summon "Dark Verger" from her hand. She then tunes her two "Evil Thorns" and "Dark Verger" with this card in order to Synchro Summon "Black Rose Dragon".
- In episode 75, Akiza used this card during her Turbo Duel against Tetsu Trudge. After she Normal Summons this card, she activates this card's effect to Special Summon "Lord Poison" from her hand. Akiza then tunes "Lord Poison" with this card in order to Synchro Summon "Black Rose Dragon".
- In episode 139, Akiza uses this card during her Ground Duel with Crow Hogan against Sherry LeBlanc. Right after Akiza summons this card, the effect of "Ecole de Zone" negates this card's summon, destroys it, and Special Summons a Mask Token that has ATK and DEF equal to this card's (Crow saw this as Sherry summoning a Mask Token).
- This card also appears in a flashback Akiza has when she remembers Yusei telling his friends that they need to learn how each others' Decks work in order for them to fight like a team.

- In the non-canon duel YCS Providence 2012 Special: Yusei vs. Akiza, Akiza Normal Summons this card and uses its effect to Special Summon "Lord Poison". Immediately afterwards, she uses "Twilight Rose Knight" as Synchro Material with "Lord Poison" for "Black Rose Dragon".
