- Bandit Keith used this card against Joey Wheeler in the Duelist Kingdom Tournament. Joey would use Graverobber to take this card from Keith's Graveyard, Special Summoning his Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon back to the field, allowing it to destroy Slot Machine and win the Duel.
- In the anime, Time Machine negated any Battle Damage to the player who activated it. It Special Summoned the monster just destroyed with its ATK and DEF set during the previous turn.
- In the Yu-Gi-Oh! R Manga, Joey Wheeler plays this against Bandit Keith saying he had taken it after Keith left Duelist Kingdom, effectively taking it from Keith a second time.
