• In episode 63, Weevil Underwood uses this card during his Duel against Joey Wheeler. He uses this card to force Joey to Special Summon the "Parasite Paracide" that a kid slipped into Joey's Deck and turn Joey's "Panther Warrior" into an Insect-type monster. Weevil explains that any monster that becomes an Insect through this card's effect can't be Tributed which means "Panther Warrior" can't attack. This card later turned "Little-Winguard" into an Insect-type monster. The latter then attacks "Larvae Moth", but Weevil activates "Insect Barrier" to prevent Joey's Insect-type monsters from attacking. This card later turns "Alligator's Sword" into an Insect-type monster. In the next episode, Joey summons "Gearfried the Iron Knight", who didn't become an Insect due to its effect preventing it from becoming so. This card remained on the field until the duel was over.
    • This card was specifically created for the anime version of this duel, so that the effect of "Parasite Paracide" would be the same that it has in the OCG/TCG.
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card appeared on the screen of the laptop that Kenta was using when he was trying to let Serenity Wheeler know how the Duel between Joey and Weevil was going.
  • In episode 74, this card appears within a series of flashbacks that show all of Joey's Duels in Battle City.
