Later "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon" attacks this card, but Yuma activates this card's effect to negate the attack by detaching "Ganbara Knight". "Jawsman" then attacks this card, but Yuma activates his face-down "Bye Bye Damage", to prevent this card's destruction and make Shark take twice the Battle Damage he takes. On the last turn, this card attacks "Leviathan Dragon". Yuma then activates this card's effect to negate the attack by detaching "Gagaga Magician". Yuma then activates "Double or Nothing!" to double this card's ATK and let it attack again. This card then attacks and destroys "Leviathan Dragon", winning Yuma the Duel.
  • In episode 3, Yuma checks his Extra Deck during his Duel against Mr. Kay and finds this card and "Leviathan Dragon" inside, much to his relief (Yuma is surprised to see "Leviathan Dragon" inside his Extra Deck). On Flip's next turn, this card attacks "Baby Tiragon", but due to the effect of "Half Unbreak", "Baby Tiragon" isn't destroyed and the damage Yuma takes is halved. After Yuma activates the effect of "Stinging Swordsman" to return "Ultra C" and "Traitor Fog" (which Flip used on "Leviathan Dragon") to Flip's hand, the second-to-last effects of both this card and "Traitor Fog" give control of this card and "Leviathan Dragon" to Yuma. After "Leviathan Dragon" attacks and destroys "Flipangutan", this card attacks directly and wins Yuma the Duel.

Don Thousand activates the fifth effect of "Chaos Number 1000: Numeronius" to destroy this card and Special Summon "Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray Victory" in its place (as "Numeronius" negates the effects of "C" monsters and prevents them from attacking). At the end of the Battle Phase, the third effect of "Numeronius" destroys all monsters Yuma and Nash control and revives this card, "Utopia Ray Victory", "Number 101: Silent Honor ARK", and "Chaos Number 101: Silent Honor DARK" under his control. Later Yuma activates the fourth effect of "Number 100: Numeron Dragon" to destroy all monsters on the field and return all Spell and Trap Cards destroyed on the field this turn to their original position before destruction. As "Overlay Reborn" didn't detach Overlay Units, this card's ATK and DEF become 0 and its effects become negated. Yuma then activates "Double or Nothing!" to double this card's ATK and let it attack again. This card then attacks "Barian Hope", but Yuma, at this point, realizes that the Door's prophecy meant he will lose himself if he wins the Duel since he will use the Numeron Code to erase the life Shark has lived up until now. As such, Yuma activates the last effect of "Sylphid Wing" to attach it to this card as an Overlay Unit and activates this card's effect to negate the attack by detaching "Sylphid Wing". After Nash activates "Glory of the Seven Emperors" (which attaches the remaining four "Chaos Over Hundred Numbers" to "Barian Hope"), Astral remarks that, had Yuma not negated the attack, "Glory of the Seven Emperors" would have caused Yuma to receive all battle damage from the attack and lose the Duel. This card then attacks "Gogogo Golem", but the latter is not destroyed due to its own effect. In the next episode, "Gagaga Samurai" attacks "Utopia Ray Victory", but Astral attaches "Heat & Heal" to target this card, increase his Life Points by this card's ATK, and attach "Heat & Heal" to this card as an Overlay Unit. Later, this card attacks "Gagaga Cowboy". Yuma activates "Half Unbreak" to prevent his monster's destruction and halve the damage he takes, but Astral activates "Absolute Buster" to negate the effect of "Half Unbreak" that prevents a monster's destruction. This card then destroys "Gagaga Cowboy". Later, "Gagaga Cowboy" attacks this card (surprising everybody else, including Astral). Suspecting Yuma must be planning something with one of the cards on his field or hand, Astral activates this card's effect to negate the attack by detaching "Heat & Heal". Manga

  • In Rank 8, Yuma plays this card against Kaito Tenjo. He overlays "Gagaga Magician" and "Kagetokage" to Xyz Summon it. In the next Rank, Yuma activates "Blustering Winds" to increase its ATK by 1000. This card attacks "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon", but Kaito activates that card's effect, banishing both monsters until the end of the Battle Phase, resulting in this card losing its Overlay Units. The monsters return and "Galaxy-Eyes" gains 500 ATK for each Overlay Unit this card had. "Galaxy-Eyes" attacks this card, but it is not destroyed, since "Galaxy-Eyes" is not a "Number" monster. Yuma plays "Cross Attack", preventing his "Leviathan Dragon" from attacking, but letting this card attack directly. Kaito plays "Photon Current", adding the ATK of "Utopia" to that of "Galaxy-Eyes" and redirecting the attack to it. The Duel ends when Kaito leaves to see to Haruto, just before the attack would have defeated Yuma.
  • In Rank 10, this card appears in Takashi's explanation of the "Numbers".
  • In Rank 12, Yuma plays this card against Captain Corn. He overlays "Gagaga Magician" and "Kagetokage" to Xyz Summon it. Corn activates the effect of "Blackship" to destroy this card, but Yuma redirects the target to "Zubaba Knight" with "Oopsword". The effect of "Giant Kra-Corn" powers up "Blackship" and it attacks "Utopia", but Yuma uses "Second Reflector" to negate the effect and inflict damage to Corn.
  • In Rank 18, Yuma plays this card against Cologne. He overlays "Gagaga Magician" and "Gagaga Girl" to Xyz Summon after changing the Level of "Girl" to 4 via its own effect. The effect of "Girl" reduces the ATK of "Number 22: Zombiestein" to 0, letting this card attack and destroy it.
  • In Rank 29, this card appears in Yuma's collection of "Numbers".
  • In Rank 39, Yuma plays this card against Kaito. He overlays "Gagaga Magician" and "Kagetokage" to Xyz Summon it. In the next Rank, Yuma plays "Xyz Treasure Ticket", letting him draw four cards as this card is a Rank 4 monster. Kaito banishes this card with the effect of "Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon", removing its Overlay Units. "Full Armor" attacks this card, but it is not destroyed by battle since "Full Armor" is not a "Number" monster. However, Kaito Tributes "Full Armor" with "Galaxy Shot" to inflict its ATK to Yuma as damage. In the next Rank, Yuma plays "Hope 1" to Tribute this card and survive with 1 Life Point. He performs a Shining Xyz Evolution to Summon "Utopia One".
  • In Destined Meeting!!, Yuma plays this card against Kaito. He overlays "Ganbara Knight" and another Level 4 monster to Xyz Summon it, but Kaito cancels the Duel.
