  • In episode 34, Trey uses this card during his Duel against Shark. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Chronomaly Colossal Head" and "Chronomaly Golden Jet" via "Orichalcum Chain". This card then gains 300 ATK due to "Sunken Kingdom". This card then attacks and destroys "Black Ray Lancer". Trey then activates this card's effect to detach "Chronomaly Colossal Head" and revive "Black Ray Lancer" under Shark's control with 1000 less ATK in order to let this card attack "Black Ray Lancer". This card then attacks and destroys "Black Ray Lancer". After Shark destroys "Orichalcum Chain" via the effect of "Skull Kraken", control of this card went to Shark. This card attacks directly, but Trey activates "Antikythira Gear" to take control of "Skull Kraken", however Shark activates "Extreme Pressure Power" to destroy "Skull Kraken" and draw a card, which makes "Antikythira Gear" resolve without effect. The direct attack continues. Later "Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut" attacks this card (Trey intends for the effect of "Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut" to make Shark take the Battle Damage he would take), but Shark activates "Plate Salvage" to negate the effect of "Sunken Kingdom" for two turns, which returns this card's ATK to its original value. Due to the effect of "Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut", it is not destroyed and Shark takes the Battle Damage Trey would take. Later this card attacks "Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut", but Trey activates the effect of "Colossal Head" to banish it from his Graveyard switch "Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut" to Defense Position. This card then destroys "Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut". Shark then activates this card's effect to detach "Chronomaly Golden Jet" and revive "Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut" under Trey's control with 1000 less ATK and let this card attack "Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut". This card then attacks "Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut", but Trey activates "Chronomaly Ley Line Power" to switch both battling monsters' ATK, however Shark activates "Sea King's Verdict" to negate and destroy "Chronomaly Ley Line Power". This card then destroys "Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut", winning Shark the Duel. Trey lets Shark keep this card as a reward for beating him.
  • In episode 46, this card appears in a flashback Trey has when he remembers this card left a shred inside Shark's heart, which contaminated it with hatred.
  • In episode 57, Shark uses this card during his Duel against Quattro. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Hammer Shark" and "Tripod Fish" (who was Level 4 through its own effect and treated as two monsters for the summon via "Bubble Bringer"). This card then attacks and destroys "Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder". Shark then activates this card's effect to detach an Overlay Unit and revive "Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder" with 1000 less ATK, but Quattro Special Summons "Gimmick Puppet Twilight Joker" via its own effect by banishing "Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder" from his Graveyard. This makes this card's effect resolve without effect since its target wasn't in the Graveyard anymore. Later "Number 40: Gimmick Puppet of Strings" attacks this card eight times (through the effect of "String of Destiny" after Quattro sends "Gimmick Puppet Dreary Doll" to the Graveyard via "String of Destiny"). Due to the effect of "String of Destiny", none of the attacks destroy this card, but Shark still takes Battle Damage. Quattro then activates the effect of "Gimmick Puppet of Strings" to place a String Counter on this card. In the next episode, Shark banishes this card via "Different Dimension Deepsea Trench". After "Different Dimension Deepsea Trench" is destroyed by the effect of "Deep Sweeper", Shark activates the second effect of "Different Dimension Deepsea Trench" to Special Summon this card from the Banished Zone. Shark then overlays this card with itself via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Number 32: Shark Drake Veiss".
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Vetrix when he reveals that Trey gave Number 32 by Vetrix's orders.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Quattro has when he reminds Shark of the effect of "String of Destiny".
  • In episode 61, Shark uses this card during his Duel against Yuma Tsukumo. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Shocktopus", "Spear Shark" and "Double Shark". In the next episode, this card attacks and destroys "Gogogo Ghost". Shark then activates this card's effect to detach "Spear Shark" and revive "Gogogo Ghost" under Yuma's control with 1000 less ATK in order to let this card attack "Gogogo Ghost" again, but Yuma activates the effect of "Gogogo Ghost" to revive "Gogogo Golem" and switch "Gogogo Ghost" to Defense Position. This card then attacks and destroys "Gogogo Ghost". Later "Gogogo Golem" (whose ATK was 3600 via "Golden Form") attacks this card, but while Shark takes damage, this card wasn't destroyed as "Gogogo Golem" wasn't a "Number" monster. Later Shark overlays this card with its two Overlay Units via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Number 32: Shark Drake Veiss". After Yuma wins the Duel, Astral absorbs this card from Shark (which was done off-screen).
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Tori Meadows has when she notes even though Yuma has fought Shark many times, Shark obtained "Shark Drake Veiss" during his Duel against Quattro which makes him more dangerous.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Yuma has when he explains the effect of "Gogogo Ghost".
  • In episode 68, this card is amongst the "Numbers" floating through the Sphere Field. Astral gives it and "Number 39: Utopia" to Yuma before ejecting him from the Sphere Field. Yuma returns this card to Shark. Later Yuma, Shark, and Kite Tenjo hold their signature Xyz Monsters when Yuma declares that everybody's future is at stake and that they challenge Dr. Faker to a Duel.
  • In episode 69, Shark uses this card during his Tag-Team Duel with Yuma and Kite against Dr. Faker. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Hammer Shark" and "Xyz Remora" (due to the second effect of "Xyz Remora", the number of monsters required to Xyz Summon this card was reduced by one). After Shark uses "Number 39: Utopia" to attack "Number 53: Heart-eartH" with Faker activating the third effect of "Heart-eartH" and Shark activating the effect of "Shield Fin" in response, this card attacks "Heart-eartH", but Faker sends the "Garbage Ogre" equipped to "Heart-eartH" to the Graveyard to prevent its destruction. Faker then activates the eighth effect of "Heart-eartH" to inflict damage to his opponents equal to half the damage he took. After Kite uses "Number 39: Utopia" to attack "Number 53: Heart-eartH" with Faker activating the third effect of "Heart-eartH" and Kite activating the effect of "Shield Fin" in response, Kite uses this card to attack "Heart-eartH", but Faker sends the "Garbage Ogre" equipped to "Heart-eartH" to the Graveyard to prevent its destruction. Faker then activates the eighth effect of "Heart-eartH" to inflict damage to his opponents equal to half the damage he took, but Kite activates "Photon Prevent" to take no damage from the effect of "Heart-eartH". In the next episode, the second effect of "Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon" switches all monsters controlled by Yuma, Shark, and Kite to Defense Position. Later "Heart-eartH Dragon" attacks this card (Faker planned to use the third effect of "Heart-eartH Dragon" to nullify the damage he would take and inflict an equal amount of damage to his opponents as effect damage instead), but Shark activates "Escape Lure" to change the target to "Utopia" and halve the battle damage Faker takes. Yuma then activates "Half Unbreak" to prevent "Heart-eartH Dragon" from being destroyed by battle and halve the damage Faker takes. The attack fails, but the third effect of "Heart-eartH Dragon" nullifies the damage Faker would take and inflicts an equal amount of damage to his opponents as effect damage. Later Shark overlays this card with its two Overlay Units via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Number 32: Shark Drake Veiss".
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, Yuma, Shark, and Kite are holding their signature Xyz Monsters at the beginning of the episode as Faker prepares for the Duel.
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Kite has when he realizes the problem with the effect of "Heart-eartH" as it gains ATK equal to that of the monster that attacks it and even if Dr. Faker takes damage, "Heart-eartH" will make Yuma, Shark, Kite take half of the damage they inflict to Dr. Faker.
  • In episode 75, this card appears above Shark as he readies himself to take out a bunch of Barian hypnotized thugs that are part of Fender's gang.
  • In episode 78, Shark uses this card during his Duel against Art Stanley while the latter was possessed by the Barians. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Hammer Shark", "Spear Shark" and "Double Shark". This card attacks "Comics Hero King Arthur", but Art activates the effect of "Comic Field" to prevent "Comics Hero King Arthur" from being destroyed and increase its ATK by 500. Later "Comics Hero King Arthur" (whose ATK was 3400 via "Comic Field" and "Miracle Sword") attacks this card, but this card wasn't destroyed due to its first effect. Art then activates the second effect of "Miracle Sword" to activate "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force", which Ranks-Up "Comics Hero King Arthur" via Chaos Xyz Evolution and Xyz Summons "Chaos Xyz Comics Hero Legend Arthur". "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" then detaches this card's Overlay Units, attaches them to "Comics Hero Legend Arthur", and decreases this card's ATK by 900 (300 for each Overlay Unit it lost). "Comics Hero Legend Arthur" then attacks and destroys this card as "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" allows "Comics Hero Legend Arthur" to negate destruction by battle monster effects. Art then activates the effect of "Comics Hero King Arthur" to banish this card from the Graveyard and inflict its ATK as damage to Shark, but Shark activates "Torrential Reborn" to revive this card and inflict 500 damage to Art (which makes the effect of "Comics Hero Legend Arthur" resolve without effect). On the last turn of the Duel, Shark overlays this card with itself via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Number 32: Shark Drake Veiss". Shark then activates the effect of "Shark Drake Veiss" to detach this card, banish it from the Graveyard, and reduce the ATK of "Comics Hero Legend Arthur" by this card's ATK.
  • In episode 82, this card is amongst the "Numbers" shown with Astral in the Emperor's Key when Astral observes the "Numbers" he and Yuma currently have and which "Numbers" they still need to find. This card being with Astral is an error as this card was still currently in Shark's possession at the time.
    • This card also appears in a series of flashbacks Yuma has when he states that the Barians have been attacking continuously lately and the "CXyz" monsters the brainwashed people are using are powerful.
  • This card's attack name is "Depth Bite" in the Japanese version and "Deep Sea Destruction" in the dub.
