- Neo-Spacian Grand Mole was able to return itself and its attack target to the owners' hands without applying damage calculation, and yet, during its debut, Jaden Yuki lost 1400 Life Points.
- Jaden Yuki first uses this monster in his duel against Lorenzo. Jaden then has this card attack "Big Core" with Jaden taking Battle Damage since this card is weaker. This card's effect then activated, returning both battling monsters back to their owners' hands.
- During Jaden's duel with Howard X Miller, Jaden is forced to send this card from his hand to the Graveyard due to "Purse with a Hole".
- During Jaden's Duel against Princess Rose, this card can be seen when Jaden searches his Deck after he activates "Hero Signal".
- Jaden also used this card in his duel with Sartorius. Its effect was never used during this duel. After Jaden summoned this card, he returned it and Elemental Hero Neos to his Deck to Fusion Summon "Elemental HERO Grand Neos".
- Jaden used this card in his duel against Jesse Anderson. He summons it via "Triggered Summon". This card then destroys "Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle". Later Jaden switches this card into Defense Position. This card is then attacked by "Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger". This however activates this card's effect, returning both battling monsters back to their owners' hands with damage calculation not being applied. Jaden later sends this card to the Graveyard due to "Convert Contact".
- During his Duel against Professor Viper, Jaden summoned this card and "Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab" to the field thanks to a combo of "Cocoon Party" (to summon "Chrysalis Mole" and "Chrysalis Larva") and "Contact" (to summon this card and "Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab" by sending the two Chrysalis monsters he just summoned to the Graveyard). Then Jaden used "Elemental Hero Necroshade's" effect to summon "Elemental Hero Neos" with no Tributes. Jaden then returned his three monsters to his Deck for the Contact Fusion of "Elemental HERO Magma Neos".
- Jaden later uses this card when he needed to stop "Sand Doodlebug" from drowning the submarine into the sand. He Contact Fuses this card with "Neos" to Fusion Summon "Grand Neos".
- Jaden used this card in his sixth duel against Chazz Princeton while the latter was a Duel Ghoul. Jaden summoned this card via "Cross Change". Jaden then returned this card and "Elemental HERO Neos" (which was summoned via "Fake Hero") to his Deck to Fusion Summon "Elemental HERO Grand Neos".
- Jaden used this card in his duel against Harpie's Brother. Jaden then uses this card to attack "Simorgh, Bird of Divinity", intending to return it to Harpie's Brother's hand, however Harpie's Brother activates "Glory Level Talisman" and equips it to "Simorgh". The effect of "Glory Level Talisman" then destroys this card as this card's Level is lower than the Level of "Simorgh".
- Jaden uses this card in his duel against Jesse while the latter was possessed by Yubel. This card then attacks "Advanced Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus" equipped with "Crystal Release". This card's effect then returns both battling monsters back to their owners' hand with damage calculation not being applied. Later Jaden had the thought of using this card to return "Rainbow Dark Dragon" back to Jesse's hand, but he soon figures out that will backfire on him, so he realizes that he must fight "Rainbow Dark Dragon" head on. Jaden then sends this card to the Graveyard via "Convert Contact".
- Jaden uses this card in his final duel against Yubel. He summons it via "Neo - Signal". This card then attacks "Yubel" with Jaden intending to return "Yubel" to Yubel's hand, but Yubel activates "Hate Buster" to destroy both battling monsters and inflict damage to Jaden equal to this card's ATK.
- Jaden summoned this monster in his third Duel against Trueman. He then has this card attack "Five-Headed Dragon", intending to send it back to Trueman's Extra Deck, but Trueman then activates "Skill Drain" to negate the effects of all monsters out. Jaden then activates "Battle by 2" to double this card's ATK. This card is then destroyed since it was weaker, but thanks to "Battle by 2" Jaden was able to survive the Battle Damage from the backfired attack.
- Jaden uses this card during his Tag Duel with Alexis against Blair and Hassleberry. He then has this card attack "Dark Tyranno", intending to send it back to Hasslberry's hand, but Alexis activates "Doble Passé" to make the attack a direct attack. "Doble Passé"'s other effect then made "Dark Tyranno" attack Blair and Jaden directly. Jaden later Tributes this card to activate "Skill Shock".
- Jaden uses this card in his second duel against Sartorius. It is seen when Jaden is shown searching his Deck to summon "Arcana Force 0 - The Fool". Later Jaden is forced to send this card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard via "Sowing of the Fool". On the last turn of the Duel, Jaden uses "Miracle Contact" to return this card, "Flare Scarab", and "Neos" to his Deck to Fusion Summon "Magma Neos". During the same duel, this card is shown when Jaden remembers all the cards that have helped him in his duels.
- Jaden uses this card in his final Duel with Nightshroud. He uses "Future Vision to send "Aqua Dolphin", "Flare Scarab", "Air Hummingbird", this card and "Glow Moss" from his Deck to the Graveyard. He then returns this card, "Neos" and the five other "Neo-Spacians" to his Deck to Fusion Summon "Elemental HERO Divine Neos". Jaden then uses the latter's effect to banish this card and the five other "Neo-Spacians" as part of his game winning move.
- In episode 178, this card can be seen in the background when Jaden makes his speech to Nightshroud.
- Jaden used this card during his Duel against Yugi Muto. After activating "Hero's Guild" to send this card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, Jaden activated "Code Change" to change the writing on "Hero's Guild" from "Warrior" to "Rock" so that he could add this card from the Graveyard to his hand, but Yugi played "Mystical Refpanel" to negate the effect of "Code Change" and seal its effects within "Mystical Refpanel". Later in the Duel, Jaden uses "Miracle Contact" to return this card, "Elemental Hero Neos", and "Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab" to his Deck from his Graveyard to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Magma Neos". The latter then attacks "Dark Magician Girl", but Yugi activates "Magic Cylinder" to negate the attack and inflict the ATK of "Magma Neos" as damage to Jaden, however Jaden then de-fused "Magma Neos" with "Contact Out", to avoid the effects of "Magic Cylinder" from harming him. "Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman" then attacks "Dark Magician Girl", but Yami Yugi then activates "Dark Renewal" to Tribute this card and "Dark Magician Girl" to summon a Spellcaster-type from his Graveyard. He then activates the effect of the "Code Change" card that was sealed in "Mystical Refpanel" to change the writing on "Dark Renewal" from "Spellcaster" to Divine-Beast", thus enabling him to use "Dark Renewal" to summon "Slifer the Sky Dragon".
- Its attack name in the original anime is Drill Mole.
