Yu-Gi-Oh!
- This card was a Spell Card in the Japanese version. The background was changed to the purple one of a Trap Card in the dub.
- In the anime, this card can be activated during the controller's own battle phase, end it and likewise negating an attack of the controller's monsters.
- In episode 10, Ghost Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. When "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" attacks "Mystical Elf" and Yugi activates "Mirror Force" to deflect the attack and destroy all Attack Position monsters Ghost Kaiba controls, but Ghost Kaiba activates this card to negate his own attack and save his "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".
- In episode 27, Seto Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Maximillion Pegasus. When "Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon" (whose ATK was 3500 due to "Shine Palace") attacks "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", Kaiba activates this card to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.
- In episode 104, this card can be seen when Joey Wheeler was building his Virtual World Deck for his Duel against Johnson.
- In episode 106, this card can be seen when Duke Devlin, Tristan Taylor, and Serenity Wheeler were building their Virtual World Decks for their Duel against Nezbitt.
- In episode 121, Seto uses this card during his Duel against Gozaburo Kaiba. When "Exodia Necross" (whose ATK was 2800 due to its own effect) attacks "Vorse Raider", Kaiba activates this card to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.
- In episode 149, Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Alister while the latter was disguised as Pegasus. When "Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon" attacks directly via its own effect, Kaiba activates this card to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase. Alister then activates "Toon Rollback" in order to conduct another Battle Phase this turn.
- In episode 193, Leon von Schroeder uses this card during his Duel against Rebecca Hawkins. When "Ruby Dragon" attacks "Tom Thumb", Leon activates this card to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.
- In episode 194, Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Zigfried von Schroeder. When "Valkyrie Zweite" attacks directly, Kaiba activates this card to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase. Zigfried then activates "Mischief of the Time Goddess" to go to the Battle Phase of his next turn. "Valkyrie Zweite" then attacks directly, but Kaiba activates "Magical Trick Mirror" to activate "Mischief of the Time Goddess" from the Graveyard as his card, allowing Kaiba to go to the Battle Phase of his next turn.
- In episode 200, this card appears within Kaiba's briefcase when he opens it up and takes his Duel Disk with him.

- In chapter 3, Deschutes Lew plays this card against Yugi Mutou. to negate the attack of the "Lightning Blade"-equipped "Jack's Knight" against "Gear Golem the Moving Fortress".
- Dark Yugi activates this card during his Duel against Yako Tenma, and used it to negate the attack of Yako's "Beast Machine King Barbaros Ür" and end the Battle Phase.

- This card was depicted as a Trap Card, although, it still appeared in the Japanese closing song Borderline Battle as a Spell Card.
- In episode 7, Jaden Yuki uses this card during his Duel against Syrus Truesdale. When "Patroid" attacks "Elemental Hero Avian", Jaden activates this card to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.
- In episode 30, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Nightshroud. When "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon" (whose ATK was 4500 due to its own effect) "Elemental Hero Tempest", Jaden activates this card to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.
- In episode 67, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Aster Phoenix. When "Destiny Hero - Dreadmaster" (whose ATK was 2800 due to its own effect) attacks "Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin", Jaden activates this card to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.
- In episode 69, Jean-Louis Bonaparte Sets this card during his Duel against Vellian Crowler, but did not activate it. He was about to activate this card in response to "Ancient Gear Soldier" attacking "Toy Soldier" before he remembered that the effect of "Ancient Gear Soldier" forbids him from activating Spell and Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
- In episode 89, Atticus Rhodes uses this card during his Duel against Zane Truesdale. When "Cyberdark Horn" (whose ATK was 2400 due to it being equipped with "Red-Eyes B. Chick" and "Megamorph") attacks "Red-Eyes B. Dragon", Atticus activates this card to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.
- In episode 93, Jaden Sets this card during his Duel against Alexis Rhodes, but was unable to activate it due to the effect of Alexis's "White Night Fort". In the next episode, Alexis activates the effect of "White Night Queen" to destroy this card.
- In episode 97, the D uses this card during his Duel against Doctor Collector. When "Cosmo Queen" attacks "Enigma the Creator", the D activates this card to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.
- In episode 113, Jaden Sets this card during his Duel against Mr. Stein. In the next episode, "Elemental Hero Burstinatrix" (who Mr. Stein took control of via the effect of "Scab Scarknight") attacks directly, but Jaden activates this card to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.
- In episode 115, this card can be seen in the scatter remains of Tom's Deck when Jesse Anderson explains to Jaden through a flashback that one thing he is fighting for is helping Tom find his missing "Jerry Beans Man" card.
- In episode 116, this card is shown in a flashback Trapper has when he explains to Jesse that back then he had an interest in Jesse because they both could see Duel Monster Spirits.
- In episode 160, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Trueman". When "Five-Headed Dragon" attacks directly, Jaden activates this card to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.
- In episode 170, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Sartorius. When "Arcana Force VII - The Chariot" attacks "Arcana Force 0 - The Fool", Jaden activates this card to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.
- In episode 179, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Yugi Muto. When "Dark Magician" attacks directly, Jaden activates this card to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.

- In chapter 5, Bastion Misawa plays this card against Jaden Yuki to negate the attack of "Elemental Hero Poison Rose" against a "Fireball Token".
- In chapter 7, Jaden plays this card against Alexis Rhodes to negate the attacks of her "Cyber Valkyrie" and "Cold Enchanter" against "Elemental Hero Terra Firma" and "Elemental Hero Heat".
- In chapter 12, Jaden plays this card against Koyo Hibiki to negate the attack of "Elemental Hero Inferno" against "Elemental Hero Avian".
- In chapter 23, Bastion plays this card against Reggie MacKenzie to negate the direct attack of "Athena".

He Sets it and "Hopeful Future" from his Deck via "Miracle of Draconian Wrath" after "Light and Darkness Dragon" is destroyed by "Annihilating Light". He uses it to negate the direct attack of Tragoedia's "The Supremacy Sun".
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's
- In episode 65, Ghost uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Tetsu Trudge". When "Goyo Guardian" attacks "Wise Core", Ghost activates this card to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.
- In episode 82, the Guard Robot uses this card during its Ground Duel against Yusei Fudo. When "Level Eater" (whose ATK was 2900 due to "Synchro Gift") attacks "Lock Dragon", the Guard Robot activates this card to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase. "Counter Force" then gained a Charge Counter due to its own effect, which gives "Counter Force" a total of two Charge Counters.
- In episode 100, Breo uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Yusei. When "Dash Warrior" (whose ATK was 1800 due to its own effect) attacks "Bicorn Re'em", Breo uses this card to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.
- In episode 106, a Team White Tiger member uses this card during the Battle Royale that was around Neo Domino City. When "Ally of Justice Nullfier" and "Ally of Justice Garadholg" attack the Team White Tiger member directly, the Team White Tiger member activates this card to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase, however another member of the Diablo army activates "Solemn Judgment" to negate this card's effect and destroy it. The direct attacks continue and deplete the remainder of the Team White Tiger member's Life Points. The Team Lightning member was then defeated by the other Duelbots.
Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V
In episode 60, Dennis McField bribes the cooker with this card and "Magical Stone Excavation" to have him treat Gong's two roomates better.
