- In episode 13, This card is played in the first Duel between Dark Yugi and Seto Kaiba. Kaiba destroys this card with his "Megamorph"-equipped "Battle Ox".

NAS anime[]
This card has no written card lore in the original manga, and it was given the yellow background of a Normal Monster on the second series anime. Nonetheless, it was actually an Effect Monster in both versions, with the following effect:
Once while face-up on the field: You can target 1 other face-up monster you control; this card's ATK becomes 0, and if it does, that target gains that lost ATK.
- In episode 10, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Ghost Kaiba. He Normal Summons this card in Attack Position. Yami Yugi then equips this card with "Book of Secret Arts" which increases this card's ATK and DEF by 300. The imposter's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" later attacks this card, but Yami Yugi then activates "Mirror Force" to protect this card and redirect the attack right back at "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" yet the imposter then activates "Negate Attack" to prevent further destruction. Yami Yugi then uses this card's effect to transfer its own ATK to "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" (one of the two copies revived by Yami Yugi via "Monster Reborn"). This card remained on the field until the Duel is over.
- In episode 30, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Mai Valentine. He Normal Summons this card in Defense Position as Mai's "Shadow of Eyes" doesn't work on female Monster Cards. Mai's "Harpie Lady Sisters" then attack and destroy this card.
- In episode 33, this card appears when Yami Yugi explains to Joey Wheeler that Duel Monsters is about the balance between Monster, Spell and Trap Cards.
- In episode 45, Princess Adena of the Legendary Heroes virtual game is revealed to be this card. Adena then casts a spell to revive Earu, Joey Wheeler, Mai Valentine and Mokuba Kaiba due to Earu being deleted due to sacrificing himself to save Yugi Muto, and the three Duelists being deleted due to the Big Five's "Mythic Dragon".
- In episode 51, Yugi Muto uses this card during his Duel against Bandit Keith possessed by Marik Ishtar. He sets this card in Defense Position. Keith's "Seiyaryu" then attacks and destroys this card.
- In episode 53, this card appears on a poster that Yami Yugi and Téa Gardner read when they find a game store that was selling Duel Monster cards.
- In episode 99, this card appears when Yami Yugi is building his Deck for his Duel against Gansley.
- In episode 104, Johnson uses this card during his Duel against Joey Wheeler. He Normal Summons this card in Defense Position. Joey's "Gearfried the Iron Knight" (whose ATK is 2300 due to the Deck Master ability of Joey's "Flame Swordsman") later attacks this card, but the Deck Master ability of "Judge Man" destroys "Gearfried the Iron Knight" along with Joey's "Rocket Warrior" and "Little-Winguard" then inflicts 500 damage to for each Monster Card destroyed; Joey takes 1500 damage since three Monster Cards are destroyed. Johnson later activates "Polymerization" to fuse this card with "Curtain of the Dark Ones" in order to Fusion Summon "Kamionwizard".
- In episode 106, this card can be seen when Duke Devlin, Tristan Taylor and Serenity Wheeler are building their Decks for their Duel against Nezbitt.
- In episode 108, this card can be seen when Seto Kaiba is building his Deck for his Duel against Leichter.
- In episode 109, this card appears in a flashback Leichter has when he explains to Seto that his treachery began when Gozaburo Kaiba gave a large amount of dollars to test Seto's business skills.
- In episode 111, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Tag Duel with Joey Wheeler against the Big Five. He Normal Summons this card in Defense Position. Crump's "The Legendary Fisherman" attack this card, but Joey activates "Kunai with Chain" to switch "The Legendary Fisherman" to Defense Position and increase the ATK of "Alligator's Sword" by 500. In the next episode, the Deck Master Ability of Johnson's "Judge Man" destroys this card and "Kuriboh", as well as Joey's "Alligator's Sword" and "Cyber Harpie Lady"; Yami Yugi and Joey then take 1000 damage since four Monster Cards (two for Yami Yugi and two for Joey) are destroyed.
- In episode 148, this card is seen in Rex Raptor's fantasy when he thinks the reason why Maximillion Pegasus invited Yugi Muto and his friends was because he wanted to give rare cards just for them.
- In episode 210, Isis uses this creature as an Egyptian Spirit Monster. This creature restores Pharaoh Atem's life energy, but this creature is destroyed by Thief King Bakura's "Diabound".
- In episode 220, this card is shown when Yugi Muto is shown building his Deck for the Ceremonial Battle.

- In episode 142, during Skull Knight's Duel against Axel Brodie, Skull Knight picks up this card from his Deck to send to the Graveyard via the Flip Effect of "Magical Merchant".
- In episode 179, Yugi Muto uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki. He Normal Summons this card in Defense Position. Yugi then activates "Magical Dimension" to Tribute this card and Special Summon "Dark Magician" as well as destroy Jaden's "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman".
- This card appears in the second version of the anime's opening song 99%.
Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V[]
- In episode 8, this card appears in Henrietta Akaba's explanation of the LID curriculum and how they want to add Pendulum Summoning to their curriculum.
Scripted Duels[]
- In North American WCQ 2014 Special: Astral vs. Yugi, Yugi discards this card by the effect of "Card Destruction". Yugi later banishes this card and "Kuriboh" from his Graveyard in order to Special Summon "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning" from his hand.
- In World Championship 2019 Special: Yugi vs. Kaiba, this card is one of the five Fusion Materials for the Fusion Summon of Yugi's "Quintet Magician" via "Polymerization". Later in the duel, Yugi banishes this card with "Soul Release" then Special Summons this card with "Double Spell" copying the effect of Kaiba's "Dimension Fusion". This card is then Tributed for the Tribute Summon of "Exodia, the Legendary Defender".
