- In episode 71, Lumis uses this card during his Tag Duel with Umbra against Yami Yugi and Seto Kaiba. When Yami Yugi attempts to Tribute "Beta the Magnet Warrior" and Tribute Summon "Archfiend of Gilfer", Lumis activates this card to prevent Yugi and Kaiba from Tributing their monsters for a Tribute Summon. Kaiba found a loophole through this by having Yami use "Card Destruction" to force all players to discard their entire hand and draw a new hand. Kaiba then activates "Monster Reborn" to revive "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" In the next episode, this card was still on the field. In the following episode, Yugi bypasses this card's effect by fusing his three Magnet Warriors and Special Summoning "Valkyrion the Magna Warrior" (which was due to "Valkyrion the Magna Warrior" being treated as a Fusion Monster at this point in the anime). After Lumis and Umbra took control of "Valkyrion" via "The Mask of Remnants" and "Masquerade", Umbra uses "Valkyrion" to attack Yugi directly, but Yugi activates "De-Fusion" to return "Valkyrion" to the Extra Deck and Special Summon the three Magnet Warriors from his Graveyard to Umbra's side of the field. Kaiba then activates "Cross Sacrifice" to tribute the three Magnet Warriors and Tribute Summon "Obelisk the Tormentor" as this card did not prevent Yugi and Kaiba from tributing their opponent's monsters for a Tribute Summon. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
- In episode 74, this card appears in a flashback Yami Yugi has when he notes that Marik possessing a Rare Hunter happened again after he and Kaiba defeated Lumis and Umbra.
- In episode 108, this card appears in a flashback explained by Leichter when he reminds Seto that his birthday gift from Gozaburo Kaiba was where all the mistakes made by Seto himself began.
- In episode 75, this card appears in a flashback Tyranno Hassleberry has when he recognizes the top of the tower location as the place where Yami Yugi and Kaiba had to team up in Tag Team Duel to defeat Lumis and Umbra.
