- In chapter 26, Chazz Princeton uses this card during his duel against Syrus Truesdale. During Syrus' turn, Chazz Special Summons this card from his hand via the effect of "Duality". When Syrus' "Solidroid γ" attacks this card, Chazz uses its effect to reduce its own ATK and DEF by 500, as well as the ATK and DEF of "Solidroid γ" by 1500. "Solidroid γ" is destroyed and Syrus takes enough damage to lose.
- In chapter 33, Chazz uses this card during his second duel against Jaden Yuki. He Special Summons this card from his hand via the effect of "Dragon's Lair". On Chazz's next turn, he uses this card's effect to reduce its own ATK and DEF by 500, as well as the ATK and DEF of Jaden's "Elemental Hero Absolute Zero" by 1500. This card then attacks and destroys "Absolute Zero", with Jaden activating "Residual Reflection" in order to take no Battle Damage from the attack. In the following chapter, Jaden's "Elemental Hero Terra Firma" attacks and destroys this card.
- In chapter 38, Chazz uses this card during his duel against Zane Truesdale. He Special Summons this card from his deck via the effect of "Shadow's Light", which also forces him to skip his turn's Battle Phase. Chazz uses this card's effect to reduce its own ATK and DEF by 500, as well as the ATK and DEF of Zane's "Cyber Dragon" by 1500. In the following chapter, the effect of Zane's "Cyber Eltanin" sends this card to the Graveyard.

- In chapter 58, Chazz uses this card during his duel against Axel Brodie. Chazz controls this face-up card when the duel is first shown from an unspecified turn. On Axel's next turn in the following chapter, his "The Blazing Mars" attacks this card; Chazz activates "Durability (Dragon's Endurance)" to prevent this card from being destroyed by battle and reduce the damage the player would take, to 0. On Chazz's next turn, he uses this card's effect to reduce its own ATK and DEF by 500, as well as the ATK and DEF of Axel's "Mars" by 1500. Chazz then tributes this card and "Dynamite Dragon" to Tribute Summon "Light and Darkness Dragon".
- In chapter 61, Chazz uses this card during his duel with Jaden against Tragoedia. He Special Summons this card from his deck via the effect of "Spark of the Light Dragon". It then attacks Tragoedia directly. In the following chapter, Jaden attacks directly with this card. Tragoedia activates his face-down "Ruined Future", intending to destroy this card and inflict damage, but Chazz activates "Dragon's Shining Scales" to return this card to his hand and Special Summon "Dark End Dragon" from his hand. This card remains in his hand until the end of the duel two chapters later.
