- In episode 107, Jesse Anderson uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki. When "Elemental HERO Flare Neos" (whose ATK was 4600 due to its own effect and the effect of "Neo Space" attacks "Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat"), Jesse activates this card to activate "Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins" from his Deck. This destroys "Neo Space" and decreases the ATK of "Flare Neos" by 900. Since Jaden had a Field Spell when this card was activated, it second effect activates, allowing Jaden to draw a card. After that resolves, this card leaves the field and "Flare Neos" loses 400 ATK. "Flare Neos" then destroys "Amethyst Cat", but Jesse uses the second effect of "Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins" to halve the Battle Damage he takes. Jesse then activates the last effect of "Amethyst Cat" to place it in his Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card.
