This card was used in episode 164 by Makoto Inotsume during his Duel against Syrus Truesdale. It is summoned by Tributing "Jinzo". This card's effect then negated the effects of "Rebirth Judgment". This card then destroys "Cyber Phoenix". Makoto then uses this card's other effect to destroy "Rebirth Judgment" and inflict 300 damage to Syrus. Next turn this card attacks Syrus directly, but Syrus uses the effect of "Kiteroid" to nullify the Battle Damage. After "Drillago" attacks Syrus directly, Makoto activates "Trap Request" as part of his plan to make Syrus set a Trap on his next turn and destroy it with this card's effect which will inflict game end damage to Syrus due to "Trap Request"'s effect. Should this card be removed from the field, he would use the "Nobleman of Extermination" in his hand to get rid of the Trap set by the effect of "Trap Request" instead. Makoto does not get the chance to use either as Syrus later destroys this card with "Cyberdark Dragon" equipped with "Dragonroid" and powered up by its own effects, winning him the Duel.

Its attack name is Cyber Energy Impact in the Japanese anime. It's effect name was Hyper Trap Destruction.

In the anime instead of the last effect it had this: "Once per turn, you can look at 1 card in your opponent's hand or Spell & Trap Card Zones. If it is a Trap Card, destroy it and inflict 300 damage to your opponent."
