• In episode 150, Adrian Gecko uses this card during his Duel against Jesse Anderson while the latter was possessed by Yubel. He Normal Summons this card with no Tributes via its own effect. Adrian then equips this card with "Royal Sword". This card then attacks "Chaos Phantasm Armityle". Adrian then activates the third effect of this card to reduce both battling monsters' ATK to 1 during the Damage Step only. Adrian then activates the first effect of "Fog Castle" to move his monster to a different Monster Card Zone, place a Beacon Counter on "Fog Castle", and prevent this card's destruction, however he loses a Monster Card Zone. This card then destroys "Armityle" as this card negates the effects of all other monsters on the field. At the end of the Battle Phase, "Royal Sword" gains a Crest Counter, which increases this card's ATK by 800. Later "Illusion Brigadier" attacks this card, but Adrian activates the first effect of "Fog Castle" to move his monster to a different Monster Card Zone, place a Beacon Counter on "Fog Castle" and prevent this card's destruction, however he loses a Monster Card Zone and still takes Battle Damage. At the end of the Battle Phase, the second effect of "Royal Sword" gives the latter a second Crest Counter, which increases the ATK of this card to 1600. This card then attacks and destroys "Illusion Brigadier". At the end of the Battle Phase, "Royal Sword" gains a third Crest Counter, which increases the ATK of this card to 2400. Later "Grave Squirmer" attacks this card. This card then destroys "Grave Squirmer", but the latter's effect activates, allowing Jesse to destroy "Royal Sword". Adrian then activates "Crest Burn" to place three Beacon Counters on "Fog Castle" as "Royal Sword" had three "Crest Counters" before its destruction. This sends this card to the Graveyard as there were no more Monster Card Zones for it to be on.
