  • This is Kalin's ace card as a Dark Signer.
  • In the anime, this card would only be destroyed at the End Phase instead of immediately when no Field Spell is on the field. Also, it was unaffected by the opponent's Spells and Traps when a Field Spell was on the field.
  • This card and its final effect appear to represent Kalin and his desire to make Yusei suffer the same pain and torment he suffered from being betrayed and abused by Sector Security while imprisoned.

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's[]

  • In episode 35, Kalin uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Yusei Fudo. He adds this card from his Deck to his hand via the effect of "Hundred Eyes Dragon". On the last turn of the Duel, Kalin Tribute Summons this card by Tributing two "Ghost Tokens". As this card was being summoned, Satellite residents that were possessed by the Dark Signers suddenly appeared within the geoglyph and they were sacrificed in order for this card to be summoned. This card then attacks directly via its own effect (Yusei originally thought this card was going to attack "Stardust Dragon" before seeing what Kalin's true target was - Yusei himself). Yusei tries to activate "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" in response, but it doesn't work as this card is unaffected by Yusei's Spells and Traps. Just as this card is about to end the duel, Yusei loses control of his Duel Runner as it breaks down and falls off, ending the duel with no result. Although Kalin did not succeed in defeating Yusei with his Immortal, he still accomplished in installing fear into Yusei by showing the brute power of the Earthbound Immortals. With the Duel over, Kalin recalls this card and leaves.
  • In episode 36, this card appears in Yusei's nightmare, which shows him right before he nearly lost to Kalin and this card. Right when this monster's arm is about to make contact with Yusei, he wakes up and finds himself in bed.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Yusei has when he notes he remembers Dueling Kalin before he lost control of his Duel Runner.
  • In episode 37, this card is shown in a flashback Kalin has when he states to Roman he wants Yusei to live through a living hell. With the power of the Earthbound Immortals, Kalin learned that Yusei was clearly scared.

    • This card appears in a flashback Yusei has when Martha declares she knows that he's afraid of Kalin.

  • In episode 55, Kalin uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Yusei. He adds it from his Deck to his hand via the effect of "Hundred Eyes Dragon". On Kalin's next turn, he Tribute Summons this card by Tributing "Infernity Archfiend" and "Infernity Necromancer". This card then attacks directly via its own effect, but Yusei activates "Baton of the Hero" to redirect the attack to "Junk Warrior" (whose ATK was 2500 due to its ATK being increased and decreased by 1000 and 800 respectively via the effects of "Synchro Striker Unit"), destroying it instead. This card then inflicts damage to Yusei equal to the ATK of "Junk Warrior", but Yusei activates "Burst Synchro Summon" to reduce the damage to 0 and Special Summon "Stardust Dragon" from his Extra Deck with its effects negated and its Summoning Conditions ignored. On Yusei's next turn, Kalin activates "Brilliant Shrine Art" to make this card the only target for Yusei's attacks. On Kalin's next turn, Yusei activates "Superior Protector" to equip it to "Stardust Dragon" and prevent himself from taking Battle Damage from battles other than battles involving "Stardust Dragon". This card then attacks "Stardust Dragon", but Yusei activates the final effect of "Superior Protector" to destroy itself and prevent "Stardust Dragon" from being destroyed. Kalin then activates "Wicked Trample" to double the Battle Damage Yusei takes. On the last turn of the Duel, Yusei activates the effect of "Majestic Star Dragon" to negate this card's effects and transfer them to "Majestic Star Dragon". "Majestic Star Dragon" then attacks and destroys this card. "Majestic Star Dragon" then inflicts damage to Kalin equal to this card's ATK, winning Yusei the Duel. With Kalin's defeat, all the souls that were absorbed into this card are released and revived.
