- In episode 61, Shark uses this card during his Duel against Yuma Tsukumo. After he Normal Summons this card, he activates "Aqua Jet" to increase this card's ATK by 1000. This card then attacks "Gogogo Golem", but Yuma activates "Impenetrable Attack" to prevent his monster's destruction, however Shark activates "Shark Spark" to negate and destroy "Impenetrable Attack". This card then destroys "Gogogo Golem". This card then attacks and destroys "Dododo Bot" as this card can attack twice. Shark then activates "Upswell" to revive "Spear Shark" with 1000 less ATK. On Shark's End Phase, the effect of "Aqua Jet" expires, returning this card's ATK to its original value. On Shark's next turn, he overlays this card, "Spear Shark", and "Shocktopus" in order to Xyz Summon "Number 32: Shark Drake". In the next episode, this card becomes attached to "Chaos Number 32: Shark Drake Veiss" after Shark overlays "Shark Drake" with its two Overlay Units via Chaos Xyz Evoloution. Shark then detaches this card in order to activate the effect of "Shark Drake Veiss" which was negated by "Power Change Barrier", Shark then activates the effect of "Shark Drake Veiss" to banish this card from his Graveyard and reduce the ATK of "Gogogo Golem" (whose ATK was 3000 due to "Golden Form" and "Power Change Barrier") by this card's ATK, but Yuma activates the effect of "Power Change Barrier" to negate the effect of "Shark Drake Veiss" and reduce the ATK of "Gogogo Golem" by 600.
- In episode 78, Shark uses this card during his Duel against Art Stanley while the latter was possessed by the Barians. He Special Summons this card and "Spear Shark" via "Ordeal of the Hero" with their effects negated. Shark then overlays this card, "Spear Shark", and "Hammer Shark" in order to Xyz Summon "Number 32: Shark Drake". After Art Xyz Summons "Chaos Xyz Comics Hero Legend Arthur" via "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force", the latter card detaches the Overlay Units of "Shark Drake" and attaches them to "Comics Hero Legend Arthur".
