- In episode 177, Nightshroud uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki. He Normal Summons this card in Attack Position. Nightshroud then activates this card's effect to discard "Darkness Seed" and declare "Yubel". Since "Yubel" is in Jaden's Deck, "Yubel" is Special Summoned from Jaden's to Nightshroud's side of the field. "Yubel" then attacks "Elemental HERO Neos", but Jaden activates "Astral Shift" to change the attack to a direct attack. As "Yubel" has 0 ATK, Jaden takes no damage. On Nightshroud's End Phase, he Tributes this card to keep "Yubel" in play.
- When Darkness Outsider pulls Yubel apart from Jaden, it pulls her out of his body through his chest and latches onto her's before moving her; then it appears behind Jaden in spirit form, manipulating Yubel by means of tentacles.
