- In episode 177, Nightshroud uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki. He Normal Summons this card on the first turn of the Duel. After Nightshroud activates "Darkness" and activates its its effect to randomly set "Zero", "Infinity", "Darkness 1", "Darkness 2", "Darkness 3", Nightshroud activates this card's effect to check his face-down cards, so that way he will know which card is where. Later "Elemental HERO Sparkman" attacks this card, but Nightshroud activates this card's first effect to check his face-down Traps. He then activates "Zero" and "Infinity" in order to activate "Darkness 1" and destroy "Elemental HERO Sparkman". On Jaden's End Phase, "Darkness" then resets and rearranges Nightshroud's Trap Cards. On Nightshroud's next Standby Phase, he activates this card's second effect to allow himself to Normal Summon "Darkness Destroyer" with no Tributes. He then activates this card's first effect again to check his face-down Traps. This allows him to use his "Zero" and "Infinity" combo in conjunction with "Darkness 2" and increase the ATK of "Darkness Destroyer" by 3000 until the End Phase. On Nightshroud's End Phase, "Darkness" resets and rearranges Nightshroud's Traps. After Jaden Normal Summons "Elemental HERO Neos", Nightshroud activates this card's effect to check his face-down cards, but Jaden activates "Effect Shut" to negate the activation of this card's effect and destroy it, preventing Nightshroud from confirming any of his face-down cards this turn. In the next episode, Nightshroud revives this card via the effect of "Darkness Necroslime". He then activates this card's first effect to check his face-down Traps. This allows him to use his "Zero" and "Infinity" combo in conjunction with "Darkness 1", but "Neos Wiseman" is not destroyed by the effect of "Darkness 1" as "Neos Wiseman" can't be destroyed by card effects. "Neos Wiseman" then attacks and destroys this card. "Neos Wiseman" then inflicts damage to Nightshroud equal to the ATK of this card (Nighshroud takes no damage due to this card having 0 ATK) and increases Jaden's Life Points by the DEF of this card.
