  • In episode 32, Zane Truesdale uses this card during his duel against Camula. He Special Summons this card via "Attack Reflector Unit". A replay then occurs and Camula uses "Vampire Genesis" to attack this card, but Zane activates this card's effect to negate the attack. Later Zane uses this card and "Cyber Laser Dragon" to attack directly. Camula then activates "Illusion Gate" to destroy all monsters Zane controls and Special Summon "Cyber End Dragon" under her control. "Cyber End Dragon" then attacks directly. Zane planned to activate "Call of the Haunted" to revive this card and use it to negate the attack made by "Cyber End Dragon" which would prevent himself from losing. However Syrus's soul was on the line as he would be offered to "Illusion Gate" if Camula lost, so Zane chose not to activate his Trap. The direct attack then hits Zane, defeating him.
  • In episode 83, Zane uses this card during his duel against Chancellor Sheppard. He Special Summons this card via "Attack Reflector Unit". This prevented Sheppard from attacking with "Cyber Ogre" (whose ATK was 4000 due to it being powered up by its own effect) during his turn. Later "Cyber Esper" attacks this card, but Zane activates this card's effect to negate the attack. On the last turn of the Duel, Zane activates "Ruthless Denial" to send this card to the Graveyard and force Sheppard to send "Cyber Ogre" from his hand to the Graveyard.
  • In episode 89, during Zane's Duel against Atticus Rhodes, this card can be seen in the air after Zane activates "Power Wall" and throws his Deck out to block the damage he would have taken.
  • In episode 164, this card is shown in a series of flashbacks Syrus Truesdale has when he deduces that Zane's problems came from his Deck, not the underground Dueling he was involved with.
  • In the original, this card's attack is called Evolution Barrier Shot while in the dub, this card’s attack is called Sonic Shriek.
