  • In Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, the tokens summoned could not be destroyed by battle and declare an attack. The official ruling on this card's ATK-halving is different as well: in the anime, when Black Garden is removed from the field, the ATK of the affected monsters is restored to normal.
  • In episode 16, Akiza Izinski uses this card during her Ground Duel aginst Gill Randsborg. She activates this card after she activates the first effect of her "Black Rose Dragon". After Randsborg Normal Summons "Masked Knight LV3", this card halves its ATK and Special Summons a Rose Token to Akiza's side of the field. After Randsborg Special Summons "Masked Knight LV5" via "Level Change", this card halves its ATK and Special Summons a Rose Token to Akiza's side of the field. After Randsborg Special Summons "Masked Knight LV7" via the effect of "Masked Knight LV5", this card halves its ATK and Special Summons a Rose Token to Akiza's side of the field. "Masked Knight LV7" then attacks a Rose Token. The token is not destroyed by the attack since Rose Tokens can't be destroyed by battle, but Akiza still takes Battle Damage. The effect of "Glory Shield" then activates, allowing Randsborg to destroy "Doppelganger". On the final turn of the Duel, Akiza activates this card's final effect to destroy this card and all Rose Tokens she controls and Special Summon "Black Rose Dragon" from her Graveyard (as its ATK is equal to less than the total ATK of the destroyed monsters). Since this card was removed from the field, the ATK of "Masked Knight LV7" returns to normal.
  • In episode 22, Akiza uses this card during her Ground Duel against Commander Koda. She activates this card after "Violet Witch" is summoned. After Koda Special Summons "Agent of Hatred" via "Crime and Punishment", this card halves its ATK and Special Summons a Rose Token to Akiza's side of the field. After Akiza summons "Phoenixian Seed", this card halves its ATK and Special Summons a Rose Token to Koda's side of the field. Akiza then activates "Rose Flame" to inflict 500 damage to Koda since a Plant-type monster was summoned to Koda's side of the field. On Koda's next turn, he switches his Token to Defense Position. After Akiza Special Summons "Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis" by Tributing "Phoenixian Seed", this card halves its ATK and Special Summons a Rose Token to Koda's side of the field. The effect of "Rose Flame" then activates, inflicting 500 damage to Koda. "Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis" then attacks the newly summoned Rose Token. The Rose Token is not destroyed, but Koda still takes Battle Damage. After damage calculation, the first effect of "Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis" activates, destroying "Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis". This activates the second effect of "Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis", inflicting 800 damage to Koda. After "Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis" revives itself through its third effect, this card halves its ATK and Special Summons a Rose Token to Koda's side of the field. The effect of "Rose Flame" then activates, inflicting 500 damage to Koda. Koda then Tributes his three Rose Tokens in order to Special Summon "Mad Profiler". This card then halves the ATK of "Mad Profiler" and Special Summons a Rose Token to Akiza's side of the field. Koda then activates the effect of "Mad Profiler" to send "Reload" from his hand to the Graveyard and banish this card from the field. Because of that, the ATK of "Mad Profiler" and "Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis" return to their original value. After Koda activates the effect of "Mad Profiler" to banish "Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis" from the field, he uses "Mad Profiler" to attack a Rose Token. The Rose Token is not destroyed, but Akiza still takes Battle Damage. Later Akiza tunes her two Rose Tokens with "Twilight Rose Knight" in order to Synchro Summon "Black Rose Dragon".
