He Synchro Summons this monster by tuning "Beelze, King of Dark Dragons from his Extra Deck with "Hell Grub" via the effect of "Hell Tuning". He activates this card's effect, reducing the ATK of "Black Rose Moonlight Dragon" to 0, and gaining Life Points equal to that decreased amount. Since "Black Rose Moonlight Dragon" had 2400 ATK, Sect gains 2400 Life Points (from 400 to 2800). This card attacks and destroys "Black Rose Moonlight Dragon", winning Sect the duel.

In the next Ride, he activates this card's effect, reducing the ATK of "Stardust Spark Dragon" to 0, and gaining Life Points equal to that decreased amount. Since "Stardust Spark Dragon" had 2500 ATK, Sect gains 2500 Life Points (from 1100 to 3600). He attacks "Stardust Spark Dragon" with this card, but Yusei activates 2 Trap Cards: "Half Capture" and "Shock Draw". Due to "Half Capture", the Battle Damage Yusei takes is halved (from 4000 to 2000), and "Stardust Spark Dragon" gains ATK equal to the battle damage Yusei took (increasing the ATK of "Stardust Spark Dragon" from 0 to 2000). Due to "Shock Draw", Yusei draws 2 cards since he took 2000 damage. Later, this monster's effect is negated by the effect of "Junk Breaker", and is then attacked by "Stardust Spark Dragon" (which has 4000 ATK due to the effect of "Overflowing Treasure"). In the next Ride, this card and "Stardust Spark Dragon" are destroyed in a Double KO. Since this card was destroyed Sect activates "Counterattack Ecdysis" to Special Summon "Great Hades Stag Beetle" from his hand since its Level is lower than this monster.
