Arkana is a playable Legendary Duelist in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. This is a video game depiction of Arkana, a character from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime.
Prior to May 11, 2018, he was exclusive to the special event Duelist Chronicles: Battle City Begins!, only being able to be dueled or unlocked during the event.
Prior to being made available as a playable character in-game, he was able to be played at the Duel Links arcade machines at JUMP Victory Carnival 2017, which was held on July 22, 2017 in Tokyo and July 29, 2017 in Osaka.[1][2]
Red Gate Keys are normally required to Duel Arkana at the Gate.
Description
One of Marik's nefarious Rare Hunters. Arkana believes he is the one true Master of Magicians. He has no qualms about harming his own cards - as long as it guarantees him a victory. During Battle City, Arkana faced Yami Yugi in a clash of Dark Magicians - where one mistake could lead to an eternity in the Shadow Realm.
History
Arkana awoke after his defeat in Battle City, bombarded by painful memories that Marik had stirred up in his mind. Fortunately, Arkana was so elated to have survived that he was able to suppress the pain. Some time later, Arkana entered the world of Duel Links.
When Yami Marik returned, Arkana rejoined the Rare Hunters, but was defeated and sent to the Shadow Realm. Arcana was later released once Marik's reign of terror came to an end.

- Arkana is the only character who can Summon a monster that causes a different cutscene to play than its original counterpart; in this case "Dark Magician".
- Arkana's dialogue for "D/D Pandora" and "Pandora's Jewelry Box" may be references to his Japanese name, "Pandora".
- Yugi Muto, Mako Tsunami, Rex Raptor, Bandit Keith, Ishizu Ishtar, Odion, Maximillion Pegasus, Arkana, Espa Roba, Dr. Vellian Crowler, and Syrus Truesdale are the characters with the least character-specific dialogue in-game.
- The aforementioned characters have the average amount of character-specific dialogue a Legendary Duelist possesses.
