The Archlords creatures are a series of LIGHT Attribute Fairy-Type monsters that focus on destroying your opponent's monsters and increasing your Life Points.The Effect of the Archlords are in collaboration with the The Sanctuary in the Sky.

The Archlords are often seen as the antithesis of the Archfiend Archetype because the Archlords are based on angels while the Archfiends Japanese name translates to Demon and both offer opposing paths for the card "Warrior of Zera". There is also another antithesis to the Archlords, known as the Fallen Angels.

The Archlords are used by Aster Phoenix in his first duel VS Jaden Yuki and by Reggie MacKenzie VS Midori Hibiki.

The Kana for the word "Archangel", the Japanese term for Archlords, is pronounced "Daitenshi". This makes the word for Fallen Angels, "Datenshi", a play on that, providing further proof of their relation.
