Chronology

The 2012 Thai National Championship was a World Championship Qualifier for the 2012 World Championship. It determined the 2012 national champion of Thailand. It took place in St. Louis hosptial in Bangkok[1] on June 9, and was won by Santi Phromduangsri. The tournament was attended by 116 people.[2]

Events

The tournament was single-elimination. 112 of the 116 competitors took part in the first round. The 56 winners from the first round took place in the second round. The 28 winners from the first round plus the remaining 4 took place in the third round, after which it was a standard single-elimination between 32 players.
